How to Read the Dashboard Data
Understanding the data displayed on the Vye Dashboard is key to tracking your store's performance and optimizing your email marketing strategy. The dashboard is divided into three main sections: Overview, Email Analytics and Subscriber Analytics. This article will guide you through each section and explain how to interpret the data presented.
1. Overview: General Insights at a Glance
The Overview section gives you a broad view of your store's subscriber growth and email notifications performance. It is divided into two parts:
1.1. Subscriber Data
At the top of the Subscriber Data section, you will see two key metrics:
- Subscribers: This represents the number of customers that are currently receiving email updates. It is the sum of subscribers and unsubscribers. It includes subscribers that have been imported and manually added.
- Rate of Change: This number in percentage represents the change compared to the previous 30 days, indicating whether your subscriber count has increased or decreased. Green represents a positive change, while red indicates a decrease. If there is no significant change or not enough data within the last 30 days, no percentage change will be shown.
Below this section, you'll find a line graph showing the total subscribers over the last 6 months. When you hover over the graph, you can see the total number of subscribers for each month.
1.2. Email Notifications
The Email Notifications section displays the total notifications sent to your subscribers. Just like the Subscriber Data, it shows the total notifications sent and the rate of change in percentage. Below this is a bar graph showing the notifications sent for each month over the last 6 months. Hovering over the bars will display the exact number of notifications sent for each specific month.
2. Email Analytics: Tracking Your Email Performance
The Email Analytics section provides deeper insights into how your emails are being received by your subscribers. It’s divided into two parts:
2.1. Email Opens
The first part of this section shows the total email opens for the last 6 months. Alongside the total opens, you will also see the rate of change in percentage, indicating how the open rate has shifted in the last 30 days. This percentage is color-coded. Green means a increase in open rate. Red means a decrease.
Below the total opens, there’s a line graph that shows the weekly total and unique email opens for the last 4 weeks. The total opens are represented in blue, while unique opens are shown in orange. When you hover over the graph, you’ll see the exact data for each week.
2.2. Email Clicks
The second part of the Email Analytics section is dedicated to Email Clicks. Similar to email opens, this part shows the total number of clicks on your emails for the last 6 months along with the rate of change. Below that, there’s a line graph showing the weekly click data, with total clicks in blue and unique clicks in orange. Hovering over the graph reveals the exact data for each week.
The rate of change in both Email Opens and Email Clicks represents the difference from the same data point 30 days ago. If there is no significant change or not enough data, no rate of change will be displayed.
3. Subscriber Analytics: Understanding Your Subscribers' Preferences
The Subscriber Analytics section provides valuable information on what your subscribers are interested in. It is divided into three parts:
3.1. Product Tags
The first part shows a pie chart with the top 5 product tags that your subscribers have shown interest in. The size of each section in the pie chart represents the number of subscribers subscribed to that particular tag.
3.2. Collections
The second part shows a pie chart with the top 5 collections that your subscribers have shown interest in. The size of each section in the pie chart represents the number of subscribers subscribed to that particular collection.
3.3. Search Keywords
There are two pie charts for search keywords:
- Frequently Used Keywords (Single Words): This pie chart displays the most common keywords that subscribers have used in their search keywords.
- Frequently Used Combined Words: This pie chart shows the most common keyword combinations used by your subscribers.
For each pie chart, a View All button is available below the chart. Clicking this will display a table with the full list of data, so you can see all the keywords and combinations, not just the top 5.
3.3. Data Availability
Depending on the available data, not all pie charts or graphs may be shown. If there’s insufficient data, certain charts may not appear on your dashboard.

The data on the Vye Dashboard is designed to give you quick, actionable insights into how your subscribers are engaging with your store and emails.
