Onboarding to Vye: A Comprehensive Guide

This guide will introduce the core features and sections of Vye to help you set up and optimize automated email updates for your Shopify store subscribers. This article will walk you through each section of the app to ensure you get the most out of your Vye experience.

1. Dashboard: Your Vye Overview

When you click on Vye and open it, the first section you’ll encounter is the Dashboard. This is where you get a quick summary of your store’s email engagement and subscriber growth. The Dashboard displays:

  • Total Subscribers: See how many subscribers have signed up to receive email updates from your store. This is the sum of all subscribers and unsubscribers.
  • Emails Sent: View the total number of emails sent to your subscribers over the last 6 months.
  • Email Opens: Track the number of times your emails were opened in the last month. The graph shows both the total and unique opens.
  • Email Clicks: See how many subscribers clicked on links in your emails over the past month. Both total and unique clicks are shown.
  • Subscriber Analytics: Get insights into which products your subscribers are interested in. This will only be shown if you have enough subscribers that can be analyzed.

2. Subscribers: Manage Your Subscriber List

The Subscribers section gives you full control over your customers that are receiving email alerts. Here's what you can do:

  • View Subscriber List: All your subscribers are listed in a table with key details such as Subscription Date, Number of Notifications Set and Triggers Subscribed To.
  • Subscriber Details: Click View Details for any subscriber to see more granular data. The data can be edited or completely removed.
  • Manage Subscribers: You can easily add new subscribers, either manually or by importing them from a CSV file.
  • Subscriber Export: Export your subscriber list in CSV format at any time.
  • Email Logs: Review the last sent email and check the email logs to track which notifications were delivered.

3. Forms: Capture Subscriber Interests

The Forms section allows you to create and manage forms that you can add to your store to capture subscriber information. These forms help you collect specific data on what your subscribers are interested in, such as product preferences and email frequency. Key features include:

  • Create Forms: Use the form editor to create custom forms that suit your store’s needs.
  • Preview Forms: Preview how the form will look to before embedding it on your store.
  • Edit Forms: Update existing forms at any time.

4. Email Templates: Crafting Engaging Emails

In the Email Templates section, you can create and customize email templates that will be sent to your subscribers. Features include:

  • Pre-built Templates: Customize one of Vye’s pre-built email templates, or create a new template from scratch.
  • Drag-and-Drop Editor: Design your emails using the easy-to-use drag-and-drop editor.
  • Preview Templates: Preview how your email will look in your subscriber’s inbox before sending.
  • Send Test Emails: Send a sample email to yourself to ensure everything looks great before going live.

5. Settings: Fine-Tune Your Vye Experience

The Settings section is where you can fine-tune Vye to meet your specific needs. Here, you can configure various aspects of your app experience, including:

  • Email Type Selection: Choose which email templates to use for different types of notifications.
  • Email Delays: Set the time delays for sending emails.
  • Additional Configurations: Adjust other settings to ensure your email strategy aligns with your marketing goals.
